Principle of medical molecular sieve oxygen generator
Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) medical oxygen generator is an automatic equipment for separating oxygen from the air by adsorbing and releasing nitrogen from the air by using zeolite molecular sieve as adsorbent.
Zeolite molecular sieve is a spherical granular adsorbent which is processed by a special pore processing process and has micropores on its surface and inside. It is white. Its pore shape makes it possible to achieve the dynamic separation of O2 and N2. The separation of O2 and N2 by zeolite molecular sieves is based on the small difference in the kinetic diameter of the two gases. The N2 molecule has a faster diffusion rate in the micropores of the zeolite molecular sieve, and the O2 molecule has a slower diffusion rate. The diffusion of water and CO2 in the compressed air is not much different from that of nitrogen, and finally the oxygen molecules are enriched from the adsorption tower.
